Name: Elavarasu Thayalan Endraaye
(His name is in the Indian language 'Tamil'. Krill means Prince, Thayalan means 'kind' and Endraaye is his father's name. It means either "arrow" or "target")
Age: 32 (a young boy!)
Sign: virgo/snake
Race: Naga (1/2 human, 1/2 snake demon) Naga is recognized as a race of it's own where Thayalan comes from in India. Since a Snake demon has been ruling his home lands for longer than can be remembered.
Place of birth: India
Hair color: White -> red -> black (from top of head - down)
Eye color: Changes depending on.... circumstances. But, generally of a golden hue.
Body type: thin
Demonic markings:
Demon forms: He has only one form. After countless years of breeding, the Naga has become it's own race. He still has powers given to him by his father's blood line, but he can not change forms like other demons/half-demons.
He always looks just as these pictures (with the exception of different hair styles and his eye color).
Powers and skills:
Superficial:
The color of his eyes change, but he has no control over it.
He can change the pattern and shades of the colors on his scales (he can not add new colors, like blue or green, but he can make a pale almost pink red, or one almost orange) at will.
Beneficial: He has a musky sort of scent that he constantly gives off (and is not aware of, nor has any control over) wich mimics the pheromones of many types of demonic animals. Half-demons and demons often find themselves drawn to his side and even instantly sexually attracted to him.
He has learned to dance from his brother, Vetri.
He learned to fight from his brother Oppilan (who taught him as a favor to Vetri)
He learned (some of) the hypnotic trance from his eldest brother. But he'll never be able to fully do it since he lacks the proper tail.
Offensive: He has natural claws and fangs - all of which are seeping in poison. This is a gift from his father that he seems to share with all of his siblings. He is immune to the poison and his saliva can neutralize it if he wishes.
Defensive:
Weaknesses:
History: Thayalan was raised mostly away from his home. He was born to a beautiful Indian woman who loathed the thought of being a snake-man's wife. For a while she lived in peace in the household but never willingly gave in to Cobra's demands.
Thayalan was the result of a rape, and rape was the only sex life his mother had with his father. When he was born she had hoped that he would be kind and sweet and so gave him the name that showed those hopes. He remembers very little of his mother before her death. He knows that his father killed her and why he did it. For a good number of years he was not allowed in the house because of the shame her actions put opon him. Servants raised him in a smaller mansion outside of the city. About 10 years ago his father asked for his return and he was made to come back.
There he developed relationships with his siblings and the others in the household. His father became torn with his original desire to raise him as a son and the growing desire to take him sexually. His son's beauty, dancing, soft seductive voice and perfected body made him mad. He inprisioned him for years before having him blind-folded and restrained, lying on a table in front of him. He had intended on devouring this creature that made him mad - but found it impossible because he wanted nothing more than to have his way with him.
He restrained himself enough to only caress and explore his son's body for a few moments then he went about the palace ordering everyone within it to immediately leave. Incest is a universal taboo, and he wanted noone to know what he was about to do with his own child.
Horrified by the thought of what their King would do, the servants who raised Thayalan quickly took him away from the palace and he has been living in the tropical forests to the far east (away from his family and the servants who had raised him).
Thayalan is still uncertain about what his place is in the world.
Photos are not my own. They are of Nelena's character Ni'am (I tried to contact her but she never responded. I'm working on getting pictures of my own drawn.)
Brothers:
(Oldest to youngest, Left to right)
1.) Irumporai ("brave") You will find that he has a rattlesnake tail (unlike any of his other brothers). As one of his father's Naga mistresses/concubines conceived a child before one of his proper wives, she managed to have her son become the elder prince. He is haughty and hedonistic. He is spoiled and untamed, used to having whatever he desires. He does not wear clothing of any sort at any time, as a testiment to his wild nature.
2.) Oppilan ("peerless gem") First son of the first wife. Oppilan is regarded as a "second crown prince" and the two share the title equally since they are actually quite fond of each other. Oppilan's personality is very different, though. As he focuses on reading and quietly observing. This is not to say that he is antisocial. He loves to dance and is often found at parties. (Everything gold on Oppilan is only adornment - even his horns. He had them made as a sort of headdress so he would look the part of crown prince like his older brother) He wears some clothing to put on a conservative appearance (it also helps him mask his.... 'desire' for his brother, Vetri)
3.) Vetri ("Sucessfull, Victorious") Only child of the 3rd wife. She was of Slavic descent, so this name was chosen due to that it sounds like something in her own language. His mother was a dancer, so Vetri knows how to dance very well. He has taken her human moves and turned them into very seductive serpentine ones. Oppilan has been entranced by Vetri's dancing and secretly wishes to make him his own but is wrapped up in the red tape of royal protocal, so he lusts in silent. Vetri is intelligent, wise and kind. The only one of Thayalan's brothers who he deems a true friend. He was blessed with the genetic scale flap to hide his genetalia and so finds little reason to wear any more clothing than is necessary.
4.) Anandam ("blis") Second (and last) child of the first wife. When he was born, his baby horns severly injured his mother and made her unable to bear any more children. There is a joke about the palace that she named him 'bliss' because she would no longer have to carry any more of the master's infernal seed. This couldn't be farther from the truth, for the first wife, Aram, is the only of King Cobra's mates to be dutifully devoted to him and the news of her inability to conceive horrified her. Anandam is a happy and fearless child. He wears the loin cloth because of his age and will be comming into the first years of adulthood soon.
This photo is of some people's WOW characters by an artist named NEPi.
Sister(s): (pic by gamera1985) DheivaVadivu - who's name means "With the likeness of god" since, in their mythology, it is divine and a great blessing to have such a child. In fact, since many of these children do not live very long, it is said that their devine nature becons their quick return to heaven. Dheiva is the only child(ren) of the fourth wife. She is regarded as one child and two at the same time. Each head has a different personality. One is quiet and reserved, the other is loud but helpful. Everyone loves her in some way (except Irumporai who seems to really be annoyed by her) and they all must regard her as sacred.
The sultan, King Cobra:
He is the ipitome of chaotic. One moment he will be gentle and jubilant, the other cruel and sadistic. He tortured and strangled his second wife, Thayalan's mother, after she refused to submit to him, so only the 1st, 3rd and 4th remain. (He does take many Naga women as concubines for his harem, though. It is taboo to take a Naga as a wife as they are undoubtedly related to the family line at some point.) At this point he has dissappeared. He has been gone for some time now, leading everyone to believe he has died. None of his children can take his throne, though, since there are two elder princes.......
